Calm before the storm

What a wonderful weekend!! We had absolutely no plans and it was great! To be able to get up and stay in your pajama's is a great thing. I forgot what it felt like. Having Landon, seems like I always have someplace to run or somebody to go see. We were able to watch the Disney Channel in the morning. I was able to even get up and make it to church on time. Gotta love that.

This weekend will be quite different though. Tis' the season. We will be seeing a lot of family in the weekend to come. So, it was nice to have the calm before the storm of family christmas's. Hopefully we will be able to get Landon to nap and be able to enjoy his Christmas since he didn't have Christmas last year. In that respect any Christmas that we get to attend this year is better than the one we had last year at Children's Hospital.

Hope everyone has a great week and a great Christmas!!

UGHHH

I can hardly believe that I am at work today. My house has been hit with the wonderful stomach flu AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not believe how hard we have been hit this year. I came home from work on Friday night to the sound of Luke in the bathroom. I guess that got me out of going to his Christmas Party, but.... So, Landon and I stayed with Grandma Sue for the evening. I felt bad for Luke, but what can you do????

Needless to say, Jodi to rescue for me on Saturday. I was to take my Mom to the Mall of America on Saturday, and that is the last place I needed Landon to be with all the crazy shoppers. Luke thought he was strong enough and feeling better to take care of Landon. Well, Mom and I didn't even get to the Mall and Luke called me to let me know that Landon was with Jodi. I am not sure what I would do with out her!!

Everyone is where they are suppose to be today, Landon at daycare, Luke and I at work; so hopefully we are on a healthier track this week. I do not need this to be the start of the Christmas we had last year.

Happy Monday to everyone!!

Weekend in Green Bay

Today is Tuesday already. It was one crazy weekend for me and my family. My parents got my brother and I tickets to go watch the packers on Sunday. So eight of us got up bright and early on Sunday to head to Green Bay. We met at my parents and had our Limo on the road by 5a.m. It was crazy! All the Nawrocki's in a limo.

We were in Green Bay by 9a.m. and were tailgating at Brett Farve's Steak House at 9:15. Yes, that means I had a few screwdrivers before 10. We had a lot of food, drinks, and great people around us. It was hard to leave to head to the Stadium.
We met up with my cousin Adam and 2 of his friend. (I thought we were being wild and crazy, but they were a little more obnoxious than we were!).

There is nothing more amazing than walking into Lambeau Field. It is the site to see. We were in section 138, which was the end zone. We had great people around us, which help make the pitiful game a little more fun. It was windy and snowing. I asked for the snow but not the wind. I guess beggars can not be choosy.

We spent the night, and you would think we would have all crashed early, but of course not. We had to have a fun bar at the hotel that had good shots, and pizza. Need I say more? I do know that I was sleeping before 10 p.m. though and that was a good thing.

So, all in all fun was had by everyone. Even though Luke missed his turn onto 29 and we ended up in Tomahawk, only 2 hours out of the way; we made it home safe and sound.

Thanks to MOM and DAD, we had another successful Christmas present!
