Happy 2nd Birthday Landon!

We had Landon's second birthday party on Sunday. Oh, where does 2 years go? He enjoyed himself dearly. He is totally in love with Baseball, so we had a baseball cake. He was not so sure what to think when everyone started singing happy birthday to him. He got a little grin on his face and stood there. Joe had to help him blow out his candles since all Landon would say is "Hot".
We had Grandparents, Great-Grandparents, and Aunts and Uncles and cousins there. It was a beautiful day to be in the back yard. Landon did receive a lot of awesome gifts. He got a baseball/t ball set. He loves the Fisher Price baseball set. Surprisingly he hits them very well. He also received a bucket of plastic wiffle golf balls. He has a plastic golf club that he thought was just a blast. Watch out Tiger Woods, you might have some competition in a few years. Okay, probably not, but it is sure fun watching him hit. He hits some of them better than his Mom and Dad. Landon also received a battery operated John Deere Tractor. He was in love helping Dad put it together and just not so sure he understands the driving aspect to it yet. Just give it time and he will be all over the place.
We are taking Landon to Milwaukee to watch a Brewer game at the end of September so Chad and Melissa got him a fitted Brewers hat along with a Fielder T-shirt. It is awesome. Landon has not went a day without wearing the hat. All he says is "my New Hat". He is going to fit right in at Miller Park. :)
All in all it was a good day. Mom is glad the party is over and sad to say that her little baby is now 2 on Thursday. Landon has made the conversion to the 2 year old room at daycare and everything. They are starting to potty training already. It is crazy how fast time goes. But, now diapers will be a real treat.

Relaxing & Beautiful

We spent our weekend at the Lake with Kathy & Joel. Landon had a blast. He was able to be outdoors playing the majority of the day on Saturday. He was totally engrossed with the lawnmower. He saw Luke mowing and then he decided that he needed to mow.

Looking at the pictures I just can't believe how big he has gotten. The things he says is just funny. The new word of the weekend was "Heavy" with a little accent. Helping Grandpa pick up sticks, and they were all 'Heavy'. Just too cute.

Landon also experienced the sprinkler for the first time. He was not too sure what to think of it at first since the water was soo cold, but then Grandma showed him how much fun it could be and he loved it. He also wasn't so impressed that Mom made him wear Amaya's pink water shoes. Oh, the things you can do to your child when they are little and don't know the difference. Yes, they are pretty in pink. I guess we can call it black mail pictures for graduation. HE HE.
